"I paint in a variety of styles depending on what interests me at any one time. Sometimes I works on 10 paintings at time. Subject matter is relatively unimportant to me. I do stuff just to see if I can. It all gets down to shape and color relationships. There's not much difference to me between figurative and abstract. I like BIG paintings. They are easier to see and have more impact. This is America. Size counts."
