GABRIEL ROBERTS

b. 1986 Buffalo, NY

I grew up in Carmichael, CA, studied ceramics at UC Davis, and spent three years in the bay area between San Francisco and Oakland.  I’ve recently relocated to Paonia, where I’m working to build community and permaculture, continuing to make art, and producing a podcast called “Painting Pictures”.

My intention is to present my emotional experience through visual information. I strive for clarity, patience, and to work without attachment to a final product.  I hope that viewers can, in their own way, assemble these shapes and colors into pictures, and thereby experience the thrill of seeing in a new way.
